was founded in 1974, hits such as "Britta," ratings winners such as "Southern
Stars," award-winning TV series such as "Tanja" and feature films such as
"Across The Black River," hailed by press and public alike. The red thread

identity and self-determination. Over the years, the firm has also remained

The Berengar Pfahl Film GmbH specializes in foreign productions and has a
dense network of partners and production bureaus around the world. China
is currently one of the focal points of the company's work and plans. Next
to the international feature film Shanghai Baby, there are further projects in
pre-production.
